Customer Testimonials
Helpful for transitioning to the ICU
Amazing as a quick resource for hemodynamics, arterial lines, and PA catheters! Also awesome for cardiac medications. Really glad to have a reliable source for this information as a new ICU nurse. There is some content in there that feels unnecessary, like the NIH stroke scale. The book doesn't have any information that isn't in the readily available PDFs of the NIH stroke scale. But, overall, really happy I bought it to help me transition to the ICU!
Must-have resource for ICU learning
This is one of the best books I’ve ever purchased! It’s incredibly in-depth and covers so much important information in a way that’s easy to follow. It’s especially great if you’re new to the ICU, but also really helpful for keeping up with key concepts and things you need to know. Definitely a must-have resource for anyone in critical care!
Awesome book

It's created by a nurse educator and organized the way you actually think during clinical situations — not alphabetically like a textbook glossary.
It's not meant to replace your coursework — it's a condensed reference that helps you review and apply what you're learning faster, without flipping through hundreds of textbook pages.
Same content, upgraded format — the full-color edition color-codes critical values, drug classes, and lab ranges so you can scan information faster during study sessions or clinicals.
Absolutely. It's spiral-bound and durable, designed to survive daily use in a clinical bag and lie flat for quick reference on the go.
Yes. The guide focuses on the concepts most commonly tested on exams and NCLEX, including critical values, drug classifications, and clinical decision-making.
Yes — it's designed for nursing students in Med-Surg courses, clinical rotations, and NCLEX prep, whether you're just starting out or in your final semester.
